If you have a specific question or topic that you would like to research, it is usually best to use a search engine like Google to find relevant information. Search engines are designed to help you find information from a wide range of sources, including websites, news articles, and more. They are an important tool for finding information on the internet.
On the other hand, ChatGPT is a tool that is primarily used for generating text based on a given prompt. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as generating conversation or creating content for social media. However, it is not intended to be used as a replacement for a search engine.
ChatGPT will explain how it works, how to use it, and also give you information about the company that made it. So let's start without any delay and know the complete information about ChatGPT.
ChatGPT, whose full form is Chat Generated Pre-Trained Transformer, is an AI-based chatbot designed to chat online like humans via text or text-to-speech. This includes features like answering your questions, recognizing wrong and right ideas, rejecting inappropriate questions, and admitting yourself to be at fault
It has been prepared by OpenAI. It works on OpenAI's large language model GPT-3.5 and is supervised and refined with reinforcement learning techniques (part of machine learning). GPT-3.5 is an autoregressive language model that predicts future values based on past values.
How does ChatGPT work?
ChatGPT is a transformer or machine learning model included in OpenAI's list of AI products that processes and understands sequential data, such as natural language text. It works largely like a human brain using interconnected neurons, which can recognize patterns of data and predict what should happen next
It has been trained with a large amount of data taken from the Internet, including conversation. It has also been trained with a machine learning technique called Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). In which human trainers play the role of both AI Chatbot and user to provide the model with conversation. With this method of learning ChatGPT can respond in a natural and human way.
It is not that this chatbot talks like a rote parrot. According to Prof. Mike Sharples, professor of education technology at Open University in the UK, openAI's language model creates an internal representation not only on superficial text, but on the ideas and concepts behind them
How to use ChatGPT?
At the moment, there is no app available for the use of ChatGP. It can only be accessed through the website on the browser. To learn how to use ChatGPT, follow the steps below:First of all, go to the OpenAI website.
A page with the heading "Introducing ChatGPT" will open in front of you.
Scroll it down and click the Try ChatGPT button.
You'll now see a Log-in option.
Now create a new account with your email ID and password.
After this you will be asked to verify the email.
The website will also ask for your phone number for verification.
After setup is complete, you can ask any question by typing in the search bar
Uses of ChatGPT
ChatGPT can be used for the following tasks:
If you are currently looking for a job, then the most tiring task during this time is to resume and cover letter for the job application. But ChatGPT can accomplish this task in a jiffy. All you have to do is write for a resume or cover letter and your work will be done
You can solve complicated math problems
You can easily solve simple math problems, ranging from complex problems of algebra. ChatGPT is very strong in solving math problems. For a good result, you have to explain the problem clearly and concisely and it will solve it and present it to you
You can get information on any topic.
When we need information on a topic, we first search it on Google. In such a situation, instead of the answer, we get links to many websites, in which the answer is given. But that doesn't happen in ChatGPT. As soon as you search about a topic here, you will see information directly related to it, not links to websites. That is, you will not have confusion like what information is correct and which is not
You can write music in any genre.
The greatest thing about ChatGPT is its "learned creativity", which makes it different from other AI solutions. He is adept at creative endeavors, including writing songs. You can write almost any song in major music genres. For example, you can write "Write a Rap Song on Lionel Messi". And it will give you rap songs
Write, Debug, and Explain code
Whether you're an experienced programmer or a new programmer, you're faced with some bugs in your code from time to time. ChatGPT can reduce problems in your code and save time to find problems. You can also write entire blocks of functional code snippets from scratch. However, deploying ChatGPT code to a production server isn't entirely a good idea.
ChatGPT is a large and complex model, which makes it resource-intensive to run. That is, it can make it challenging to use in real-time applications, where prompt responses are required
As we know, ChatGPT is a generative model. This means that it may not always be correct in answering a particular question. OpenAI itself believes that ChatGPT can sometimes give incorrect and absurd answers. In such a situation, it cannot be used for all applications.
Like processing (NLP) models have been trained with limited quality and quantity of data. If the model is not trained on a diverse and representative dataset, it will not be able to accurately respond to inputs that are outside of its training data.
The model often responds in excessive words and uses some phrases more. This chatbot is more sensitive to how the phrase is input. For example, it can answer a question in one style of phrase, while if the phrase is changed a bit, it may not be able to answer.
Can ChatGPT replace Google Search or humans?
Whenever we need an answer to a question, we first search it on Google, where thousands of answers to that question are in front of usThey are also given by different people. But can you rely on ChatGPT for this? Even though it is the latest generation technology, there are many flaws in it.

Professionals are finding shortcomings in this. For example, a uc Berkeley professor showed in a series of tweets how ChatGPT is not free from bias and its filters can be bypassed with some easy tricks. Therefore, it is not possible for ChatGPT to replace Google search or humans
Limitations
ChatGPT sometimes writes plausible-sounding but incorrect or nonsensical answers. Fixing this issue is challenging, as:
(1) during RL training, there’s currently no source of truth;
(2) training the model to be more cautious causes it to decline questions that it can answer correctly; and
(3) supervised training misleads the model because the ideal answer depends on what the model knows, rather than what the human demonstrator knows.
ChatGPT is sensitive to tweaks to the input phrasing or attempting the same prompt multiple times. For example, given one phrasing of a question, the model can claim to not know the answer, but given a slight rephrase, can answer correctly.
The model is often excessively verbose and overuses certain phrases, such as restating that it’s a language model trained by OpenAI. These issues arise from biases in the training data (trainers prefer longer answers that look more comprehensive) and well-known over-optimization issues.12
Ideally, the model would ask clarifying questions when the user provided an ambiguous query. Instead, our current models usually guess what the user intended.
While we’ve made efforts to make the model refuse inappropriate requests, it will sometimes respond to harmful instructions or exhibit biased behavior. We’re using the Moderation API to warn or block certain types of unsafe content, but we expect it to have some false negatives and positives for now. We’re eager to collect user feedback to aid our ongoing work to improve this system
Who created ChatGPT?
ChatGPT has been developed by OpenAI Company, an AI research and deployment company. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Is ChatGPT free?
Open AI is currently running a feedback period, So is absolutely free where you can use ChatGPT for free. The company wants to use feedback to improve the final product.
